Letter: You are helping us save the bluffs

To the Editor:

Have you ever tried Patrick O’Neil’s chili with one of Bill Hanisch’s frosted cinnamon rolls? We did last Saturday, March 16, at the Hay Creek Valley Campground (Dressen’s Saloon) at a fundraiser for the nonprofit Save the Bluffs organization.

We would like to acknowledge not only Mr. O’Neil and his contributions but also each of the friends, supporters and many local businesses who donated to and attended our event, but you are numerous. You helped us raise awareness of the frac sand issues that concern us all and over $2,000 in donations to save our bluffs here in southeastern Minnesota.
