PUBLIC NOTICE

ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUOTES

Separate quotes will be opened at the Wacouta Town Hall at 7:15 P.M. on the 8th day of April, 2013, at the Town Board meeting for each of the following described items:

1. Mowing and trimming at the Township Hall, Adjacent Cemetery, Tennis Court, and Ball Field Property. Quotes will be described as a cost per month basis with mowing being done weekly, or as needed. This contract shall run 7 months from April 8, 2013 to October 31, 2013.

2. Mowing of Township road ditches as required through the 2013 growing season. This must be 8' wide. Quotes shall be described on a cost per road mile basis, listing the type of tractor/mower to be used.

3. Annual road maintenance to cover both summer maintenance and winter snow removal. Snow removal shall be done by 6:00 A.M. Hourly rates and unit prices are requested for summer maintenance and snow plowing. Please specify specific rates for labor and equipment available to be used in the rendering of services. Please specify material unit costs for class 5 crushed lime stone, topsoil, and plowing sand/salt. This contract shall run from April 8, 2013 to April 30, 2014.

All quotes shall include furnishing of required fuel, equipment, labor, and sales tax. Successful quoter(s) shall also be required to submit to the Township a certificate of insurance evidencing general comprehensive public liability coverage of at least $500,000 per person and $1,000,000 per occurrence for personal injury and property damage, and workmen's compensation insurance in a form and in amounts that comply with state minimum statutory requirements.. All quotes must be received by the Town Clerk by 7:15 p.m. on April 8, 201$The Wacouta Town Board reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.
