Township elections have two contests

Township elections in Goodhue County are Tuesday March 12.

Most positions have only one candidate, except in the supervisor election for Hay Creek and Warsaw townships. There will also be a special election for clerk in Roscoe Township.

Here's a preview of who is running and when residents can vote:

Belle Creek

Tom Gale is running for supervisor. Bill Gorman is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.

Belvidere

Stan Klair is running for supervisor. Kevin Voth is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.

Cannon Falls

Debby Hendrickson is running for supervisor. Mary Ann Maneval is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 2 to 8 p.m.

Cherry Grove

Lorin Pohlman is running for supervisor. Julie Dyrdahl is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Featherstone

Dave Schwartau is running for supervisor. Chuck Kinney is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Florence

Jim McIlrath is running for supervisor. Tom Gnotke is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.

Goodhue

Dale Dicke is running for supervisor. Gerald Puppe is running for treasurer.

The township will hold its annual meeting at 1 p.m. Polls open following the meeting and will stay open until 8 p.m.

Hay Creek

Arlen Diercks and Scott Halverson are running for supervisor. Kevin Brad Kolberg is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Leon

Mark Hernke is running for supervisor.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Minneola

Scott Logan is running for supervisor. Lois Scharpen is running for treasurer.

Polls open after the 2 p.m. annual meeting and will remain open until 8 p.m.

Pine Island

Les Schliep is running for supervisor. Kenneth Markson is running for treasurer. Following the annual meeting, tolls will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.

Roscoe

Gale Hoven is running for supervisor. Susan Ecker is running for clerk in a special election.

Following an annual meeting at 3 p.m., polls will be open until 8 p.m.

Stanton

Jennifer Ritzman is running for treasurer. Polls will be open from 2 to 8 p.m.

Vasa

Rick Samuelson is running for supervisor. Alan Lindell is running for treasurer. Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Wacouta

Susan Betcher is running for supervisor.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Wanamingo

Len Feuling is running for supervisor. Donna Enzenauer is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.

Warsaw

Jason Fehling and Duwain Egland are running for supervisor. Diane McCorkell is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 3 to 8 p.m.

Welch

Darwin Fox is running for supervisor. Joan Slingsby is running for treasurer.

Polls will be open from 5 to 8 p.m.

Zumbrota
