College fair will emphasize services for special education students

The Goodhue County Education District will hold a college fair with special emphasis on support services for special education students. The fair will be 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday March 19 in the Zumbrota-Mazeppa High School in Zumbrota.

Public and private educational institutions and transitional services with experience in special education have been invited to the event. Confirmed exhibitors include Rochester Community & Technical College, Minnesota Technical College–Southeast Technical, University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and National Guard/Army.

Miss Wheelchair USA Tasha Schuh will speak about overcoming tragedy and living a life of purpose at 9:30 a.m. The event is open to all students, parents and family members, regardless of their need for support services.

A lunch will be available for $3.
