Goodhue man wins donations for FFA, fire department

Eric Ryan of Goodhue won $5,000 in nonprofit donations from America’s Farmers Grow Communities, a program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund. Ryan donated to Goodhue FFA and Goodhue Fire Department.
Farmers could sign up for the chance to win $2,500 donations. Farmers in those areas declared disaster areas by the USDA due to drought, including Goodhue County, had the chance to win two donations. There were 1,271 eligible counties in 39 states where farmers could apply.
