FFA gets food shelf grant

The Red Wing High School FFA chapter has been awarded a $2,500 grant as part of the FFA: Food For All program. The nationwide program provides grant money to local FFA chapters to support year-long service-learning projects focused on developing and implementing sustainable hunger relief projects.

The Red Wing High School FFA chapter has been awarded a $2,500 grant as part of the FFA: Food For All program. The nationwide program provides grant money to local FFA chapters to support year-long service-learning projects focused on developing and implementing sustainable hunger relief projects.

Red Wing FFA will use the grant money to help expand its food shelf at the high school. It will also help them complete their green house, which will allow for the production of fresh vegetables. The group also plans to offer commercially processed fish, grown their animal science labs, in the food shelf.
