Shed damaged in Vasa Township fire

Fire damaged a free-standing shed in Vasa Township, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The Goodhue Fire Department was dispatched at about 3 a.m. Feb. 23 to property owned by Larry Mandelkow at 315th Street. The fire was contained to the west wall of the building, though most of the interior sustained smoke damage.

Also damaged in the fire were a snowmobile, a water heater and a gas can. Total damage is estimated at $1,475.
