To the Editor:
My most valued possession was stolen in January. The Red Wing Police Department located my guitar at a St. Paul pawn shop and returned it to me several weeks later. Though it was only valued at $50, I owe a debt of gratitude to the department for taking the initiative to recover the instrument. The sentimental value of the guitar far outweighs its face value.
