Ada Colling, 99

Ada Anna Linnea Colling (Sward), born in Vasa, Minn., on Sept. 2, 1913, and died Feb. 20, 2013, in Red Wing.

Ada married Thomas Colling on Dec. 14, 1931, and worked in the area, retiring from Jostens but never retiring from life. Ada was a lifelong area resident, living in Hager City and more recently at the Plaza and Seminary Home.

Preceded in death by her dear husband, Tom; three sisters and two brothers.

She is survived by many loving relatives.

Ada's life was a witness to love, which she gladly gave and received.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at First Lutheran Church. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Oakwood Cemetery.
