New program added to National Eagle Center's SOAR
The National Eagle Center’s SOAR with the Eagles program will feature two new programs with Wild World of Animals and Niabi Zoo in March. In addition, the World Bird Sanctuary will return.
The National Eagle Center’s SOAR with the Eagles program will feature two new programs with Wild World of Animals and Niabi Zoo in March. In addition, the World Bird Sanctuary will return.
The center’s weekend hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays. The programs will run throughout the day.
The featured presentations will be held in the nearby St. Felix Auditorium at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays and noon and 2 p.m. Sundays.
March 2-3: Meet a warthog, an alligator and a mandrill. What's a binturong or a coatimundi? Find out with Wild World of Animals.
March 9-10: World Bird Sanctuary representatives will feature birds from around the globe. Big River Outdoors sponsors this flying show.
March 16-17: The Niabi Zoo of Illinois will feature a scarlet macaw, ecletus parrot, Russian tortoise, Burmese python, two-toed sloth.
