ANNUAL TOWNSHIP ELECTION- Featherstone Township

ANNUAL TOWNSHIP ELECTION AND MEETING FEATHERSTONE TOWNSHIP:

The citizens of the township of Featherstone in the County of Goodhue and the State of Minnesota, who are qualified to vote at the general election, are hereby notified that the Annual Township Meeting and Election will be held at the Town Hall in said Township on Tuesday, the 12th day of March 2013. Any voter who has not registered may do so at this election before voting.

Absentee ballots are available from the clerk on Saturday, March 9, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The polls to vote will be open between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the afternoon to elect the following officials:

Running for Supervisor is Dave Schwartau for a three-year term. Running for Township Treasurer is Chuck Kinney for a two-year term.

The annual Business Meeting of Featherstone Township will follow at 8:15 p.m. to do any and all business proper to be done at said meeting when convened.

In case of inclement weather, the election and annual meeting will be held the following Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the times previously stated, Announcement will be made on KCUE radio, if needed.
