Boys Basketball: Cougars unable to overcome Lourdes

Kevin Niebuhr and Nathaniel Rauen combined for 39 points, but Zumbrota-Mazeppa came up short against Rochester Lourdes in a 66-57 loss Friday in Rochester.
Niebuhr had a team-high 20 points, and also grabbed eight rebounds. Rauen shot 60 percent from the floor and 6 of 8 from the free-throw line for 19 points. He also had five rebounds for the Cougars (12-10, 8-3 HVL Blue)
Heading into the final week of the regular season, Z-M hosts Winona Cotter on Tuesday.
