Active shooter training offered
A presentation on how to survive an active shooter situation will be 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical.
A presentation on how to survive an active shooter situation will be 6 p.m. Feb. 21 at Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical.
The training will cover what course of action to take, the distinction between an active shooter and hostage situation, and how to respond to law enforcement responders. This training is based on strategies developed by the Center for Personal Protection & Safety and is consistent with guidance provided by U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Tickets are $10. All proceeds will benefit Southeast Tech’s Habitat for Humanity Women Build team.
