FFA chapter advances to state

Red Wing High School FFA’s fish and wildlife ecology team will advance to state after placing sixth at the regional qualifier competition Feb. 7.

The team — Michael Brunkhorst, Michael Friedrich, Leila Hussain, Nick Plein and Andrew Sandstrom — will compete in April at the state convention in Minneapolis. The fish and wildlife team is the first of Red Wing’s FFA’s teams to advance to state.
