DEMOLITION AND BUILD-OUT OF RED WING SCHOOLS HEALTH CLINIC

Notice is hereby given that sealed unified bids will be received at the office of Kevin Johnson, CPE, Director of Building and Grounds, located at 2451 Eagle Ridge Drive, Red Wing, MN. Until 11 a.m., CST on March 5, 2013, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor and materials for:

Partial interior demolition of the 72 ft. x 42 ft. post-frame structure

and new interior construction

At 410 Guernsey Lane, Red Wing, MN (Youth Outreach Building)

The work includes the partial interior demolition of wood-framed walls and a partial storage mezzanine and the interior build-out of a small clinic consisting of a lobby, toilet room, lab, office and two exam rooms. The area is approximately 760 sq. ft. Minor remodeling is also required in adjacent existing space.

Plans and Proposal documents for this project will be available after February 19, 2013, from the Project Architects for a cost of $25.00 per set payable to D.J. Medin Architects. The Architect of Record is D.J. Medin Architects, 203 N.W. First Avenue, Suite B, Faribault, MN 55021, (phone number 507-334-2252, fax number 507-334-8350).

All quotes shall be made on the forms provided in the document package and shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or money order payable to Red Wing School, ISD # 256 for a minimum of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.

Quotes shall be securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with:

The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any

informalities or irregularities. No bidders may withdraw their bids for a period of thirty days (30 ) days following the bid opening.

A mandatory pre-bid walk-thru will be held at the site on February 21, 2013 at 9 a.m. Documents will be available at that time.
