Boys Basketball: Wildcats move to .500 for the year

Goodhue moved to .500 on the season Tuesday with a 55-32 victory over Bethany Academy in Goodhue.
The Wildcats (11-11) were led by Tyler Schumacher’s 12 points and three blocks and Zach Hinsch added 10 points, three rebounds and three steals. Tyson Dicke finished with nine points, four rebounds and two assists in the win.
No player scored in the double figures for the Eagles (6-15) as Sam Hagen led with eight points. Noah LeVoir had four points and five rebounds in the loss.
Goodhue will play second-ranked (2A) Byron Friday in Goodhue.
