Seventh-ranked (3A) Red Wing was handed a 63-45 loss at the hands of Holy Angels Tuesday in Richfield.
The Stars (10-13, 3-8 Missota) led 43-30 at halftime.
Macy Kelly led the Wingers (16-6, 7-4 Missota) with 27 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. McKenzie Muelken had 11 points and Tesha Buck finished with five points and seven rebounds in the loss. McKayla Muelken had two points for Red Wing.
Holy Angels got balanced scoring in Tuesday’s win with seven players scoring and six players scoring nine or more points. Brooke Bowlin and Evan Wise led the Stars with 11 points each.
The Wingers will host Northfield Friday.
