2/13/2013: Three arrested in liquor store theft
Authorities booked three Minneapolis residents into the Goodhue County jail Saturday Feb. 9. Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office received a report around 7:18 p.m. that two subjects had walked out of the Pine Island Liquor Store with four bottles of liquor.
Authorities booked three Minneapolis residents into the Goodhue County jail Saturday Feb. 9. Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office received a report around 7:18 p.m. that two subjects had walked out of the Pine Island Liquor Store with four bottles of liquor.
The complainant was a customer who noticed the pair entering the store as he was exiting and then they exited shortly after carrying the liquor. The complainant provided a vehicle description, license plate information, and direction of travel.
A short time later, Minnesota State Patrol Zumbrota Police Department pulled over the vehicle on Highway 52. A search produced liquor as well as other electronic equipment and clothing that appeared to have been stolen, along with shoplifting tools, the sheriff’s office said.
The following people were booked into jail: Nazareth Myers, 28, theft, possession of stolen property, possession of shoplifting tools; Timothy Landers, 31, theft, possession of stolen property, possession of shoplifting tools; Kimberly Collier, 31; possession of stolen property, possession of shoplifting tools, driving after revocation.
