ATV goes through Lake Pepin ice
An ATV went through the ice on Lake Pepin early Tuesday morning, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Michael Warner, 59, Hastings, was driving an ATV pulling a sled with ice fishing gear on the lake when he drove on thin ice and then into open water off of Methodist Point in Florence Township, the office reported. Passenger Bob Seidl, 60, Hastings, was able to pull Warner from the water. They made it back to shore and called authorities.
The sheriff’s office has posted “thin ice” signs in the area.
