The Ellsworth girls basketball team won its first Middle Border Conference game this season with a 61-33 victory Friday against Somerset in Ellsworth.
The Panthers were led in scoring by Kelsey Betthauser’s 17 points. Also in doubles figures for Ellsworth (2-15 and 1-11 Middle Border) was Tacia Kuhl with 11 points.
Ellsworth has a busy upcoming schedule with non-conference games today at River Falls and Monday at home against Lake City.
