Applications accepted for D.C. trip

Goodhue County Cooperative Electric is accepting applications for an all-expenses paid youth trip to Washington, D.C., this summer.

The cooperative will pay for one student who is a sophomore, junior or senior in the Red Wing, Cannon Falls, Zumbrota-Mazeppa, Kenyon-Wanamingo, Goodhue or Lake City school district to go on the trip to Washington from June 14-20 with hundreds of other students from across the country.

Applications are due by Feb. 18. To find an application, go to www.gccea.com, click on “news and information” then “education – youth” or visit the cooperative office at 1410 Northstar Drive in Zumbrota.
