Prescott once again was hot from the field against Ellsworth.
The Cardinals shot near 60 percent from the field, including 11 of 14 from behind the 3-point arc, to sweep the Highway 10 series.
Prescott held a 24-12 lead in the second quarter when Ellsworth notched a 4-point play as Brady DeGross was fouled after sinking a three-point play.
But that was as close as the Panthers got for the rest of the game. The Cardinals led 38-20 at halftime and 62-33 after three quarters. Prescott (10-4, 7-3 Middle Border) had four players in double figures, led by Mike Brookshaw’s 18 points.
The Panthers (5-13, 2-9 Middle Border) was led in scoring by Chrystian Kulow’s 12 points. Will Huppert finished with nine points.
Ellsworth resumes conference play Thursday at Somerset.
