Boys Basketball: Stewartville cruises past Z-M

Kevin Niebuhr and Nathaniel Rauen each finished in double digits for Zumbrota-Mazeppa, but it was not enough in a 46-35 loss at Stewartville on Thursday.
Niebuhr led the Cougars with 11 points, while Rauen shot 71 percent from the field to finish with 10.
The Tigers’ Will Gisler led all players with 18 points and 15 rebounds, including 14 on the defensive glass. Stewartville was able to control the boards all night, out-rebounding Z-M 28-16.
The Cougars (9-7, 5-2 HVL Blue) are back in action tonight at Montgomery to take on Tri-City United.
