Historic estate will begin author series
Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings and the Dakota County Historical Society will begin the Authors’ Sundays series at 1 p.m. Feb. 10 at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion St., Hastings.
Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings and the Dakota County Historical Society will begin the Authors’ Sundays series at 1 p.m. Feb. 10 at the LeDuc Historic Estate, 1629 Vermillion St., Hastings.
Authors Susan Amundson and Pat Bauer and illustrator David Geister will speak about the details of their craft and what motivates them. They will read passages from their books and sign copies as well.
Amundson’s latest book, “Hero Finds His Path,” tells the story of a Samoyed puppy who is a confident young show dog who thinks he knows his future.
Bauer and Geister, a married couple, have worked together to write and illustrate books such as “The Legend of Minnesota,” “The Voyageur’s Paddle,” “Riding to Washington” and “T is for Twin Cities.”
