Zumbrota-Mazeppa’s Carley Henning dropped a career-high 22 points, leading four Cougars in double digits in an 89-57 Hiawatha Valley League Blue Division victory over Triton Friday in Zumbrota.
Alyssa Quam also finished with a career high with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Alyssa Stehr and Hailey Dykes had 12 and 10 points, respectively for Z-M. Heading into Friday’s game, no Cougars players averaged double digits.
The Cobras were led by Piper Yankowiak’s 17 points.
Z-M (6-11, 3-4 HVL Blue) travels to Goodhue on Tuesday.
