Historical society meeting is Jan. 27

The Goodhue County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday Jan. 27 at the Goodhue County History Center.

Following a brief business meeting, St. Olaf College and Norwegian-American Historical Association archivist Jeff Sauve will present a program called “Muus vs. Muus: Holden in the Limelight.”

The same day, from 1 to 4 p.m., the historical society is opening its Holden Township exhibit. Holden is the 15th township featured in an ongoing series that highlights townships within Goodhue County.

Both the annual meeting and the exhibit open house are free and open to the public. For more information, call the history center at 651-388-6024.
