Continuing education class offered for contractors

MNSPECT, a Minnesota building inspection service provider, will offer a continuing education course for residential building contractors and building officials Tuesday Jan. 22 in Farmington, Minn.

MNSPECT, a Minnesota building inspection service provider, will offer a continuing education course for residential building contractors and building officials Tuesday Jan. 22 in Farmington, Minn.

Scott Qualle, a building official for multiple municipalities in Minnesota, will lead two courses at Castle Rock Township Hall, 2537 W. 240th St. The first, about Minnesota’s building contractor licensing law, will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and costs $90. The second, about radon resistant construction codes, is from 4 to 5 p.m., and costs $20.

Contractors are required to take 14 hours of continuing education every two years.
