Senior forum to discuss resolutions
A senior forum about redefining resolutions will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday Jan. 17.
Presenter Dr. Bruce McBeath, a licensed psychologist, will talk about how resolutions can reflect who a person is and what they do.
Learn to tie scarves
Robin and Nancy will teach visitors how to loop, drape, toss, tie and wrap scarves at 10 a.m. Friday Jan. 18.
Cost is $5 for coffee and a treat. People should bring scarves with them. Call 651-267-3599 to sign up.
Computer class will focus on email attachments
Instructors Tom and Judy Walsh will teach about email attachments at a computer class at 1 p.m. Tuesday Jan. 22.
Cost is $10 for Senior Center members and $12 for non-members. Call 651-267-3599 to register.
Support services offered
Several support groups and services are available.
• Blood pressure checks sponsored by St. Brigid’s at Hi-Park will be given from 9:15 to 10 a.m. Thursday Jan. 17.
• Memory loss coping strategies will be discussed at 1:30 p.m. Thursday Jan. 17.
• A Parkinson’s support group will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday Jan. 17. For more information, call Robin at 651-385-3456.
