Mayo implements visitor restrictions
Mayo Clinic Health System is implementing visitor restrictions at its hospitals in Red Wing, Lake City and Cannon Falls in order to protect patients and staff and limit the spread of influenza and other illnesses.
Mayo Clinic Health System is implementing visitor restrictions at its hospitals in Red Wing, Lake City and Cannon Falls in order to protect patients and staff and limit the spread of influenza and other illnesses.
The restrictions are as follows:
• Only immediate family members are allowed to visit
• Only two visitors per patient at one time
• Nobody who has symptoms of influenza such as fever, chills, muscle aches, sore throat, cough, headache or fatigue will be permitted to visit
The restrictions apply to all areas of the hospital and are effective until further notice.
