Motorists traveling on Highway 63 in Lake City will encounter a detour Thursday evening through Friday evening as crews repair a water main break.

Thursday evening through Friday evening as crews repair a water main break. The closure was moved up a day due to complications with repairs.
Motorists will detour using South 10th Street, Lakewood Avenue and South 8th Street.
The detour will remain in place until Friday evening, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
