After missing its first eight shots, Lake City proceeded to go on a 21-5 run midway through the first half on the way to a 67-34 Hiawatha Valley League Blue division victory against Triton.
Brady Kuchinka gave the Tigers (10-1, 3-0 HVL Blue) a lift off the bench, with 15 of his 17 points coming in the first half. Jake Griebenow also had 17 points, and Ben Schramski added 12 in the Lake City win.
The Tigers shot 75 percent from 2-point range in the first half, and led by as much as 42 points in the second half. Lake City continues HVL Blue play Tuesday at Goodhue.
