Menk examines parables
Harlen Menk, former pastor of English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, will lead a new Bible study called “Five Parables of the Kingdom” at United Lutheran Church.
Harlen Menk, former pastor of English Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, will lead a new Bible study called “Five Parables of the Kingdom” at United Lutheran Church. The group will meet five Thursdays, Jan. 10 to Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Members of St. Pius Catholic Church, Cannon Falls, and connected parishes received copies of “Rediscover Catholicism” by Matthew Kelly at Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Masses. Congregations soon will begin book clubs. For more information, contact Bob Bidon at bbidon@villaume.com.
