Plainview-Elgin-Millville freshman Sarah Hart poured in a game-high 29 points as P-E-M took down Lake City 71-59 Thursday at home.

P-E-M (9-3) led 39-30 at halftime and welcomed back former player and current Lake City head coach Candace Olstad. Olstad scored 1,843 points for Elgin-Millville in high school.

“It was fun, there were quite a few people there who I knew,” Olstad said. “P-E-M is a tough team. It was a hard-fought game but they had a little more conditioning left in the tank at the end.”

Ninth-grader Madi Green led the Tigers (7-4, 1-1 HVL Blue) with 22 points, senior Taylor Koller had 16 points and sophomore Breanna Gates scored 13 points in the loss.

“It was tight the whole way, but at the end they came away with it,” Olstad said.

Lake City hosts Triton Friday.
