Local author will talk about restoring gardens Jan. 21

Local author Coleen Johnston will discuss tools that helped in her garden reclamation project on Monday Jan. 21 at First Presbyterian Church in Red Wing.

Johnston’s latest book is called “All the World in a Blade of Quack: Reclaiming a Garden/Growing a Gardener.” It tells the story of her first years restoring gardens.

The presentation will be at 7 p.m. The event is free and sponsored by the Goodhue County Horticultural Society.
