One injured in snowmobile crash

One person was injured in a snowmobile accident in Belvidere Township on the night of Dec. 22.

Jamey Swanson, 38, of Bellechester, was driving his snowmobile through a field when he hit an uneven dirt mound and was thrown off the vehicle, according to the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken by Red Wing ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Red Wing with a leg injury.
