Audition for melodrama

WideSpot Performing Arts Center & Community Project will hold auditions for its first community theater production.

The WideSpot Players will perform an old-time melodrama by Morland Carey directed by Pamela Allen Larson on April 5, 6 and 7.

Auditions are Jan. 7, 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. Those interested need to attend only one session. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No preparation or experience is necessary. There are 12 speaking roles plus opportunities for extras, understudies and specialty numbers.
