Recycle old holiday lights
The Red Wing Solid Waste Campus will be accepting Christmas lights and old extension cords at no charge during the holiday season.
The Red Wing Solid Waste Campus will be accepting Christmas lights and old extension cords at no charge during the holiday season. People may drop them off until Jan. 15 during regular business hours.
The campus also will offer free disposal of holiday trees and greens from Jan. 2 to Jan. 15.
The Red Wing Lions Club will provide curbside pickup of trees on Jan. 5 or Jan. 12 for a donation of at least $5. To make arrangements, send a check and note indicating which day you would like pickup to the Lions Club c/o Brad Wronski, 312 E. Sixth St., Red Wing.
