Offices to close for New Year's
The following local government agencies and related businesses will be closed Tuesday in observance of New Year’s Day: Goodhue County Government Center, Justice Center and Public Works; most city of Red Wing buildings; the Workforce Center; and the U.S. Postal Service Post Office, which will not deliver first-class mail. In addition, Hiawathaland Transit will not offer service.

The License Center and the Red Wing Senior Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
The city waste campus will be closed Monday, and public works will close at 11 a.m. Crews will collect refuse and recycling Monday. Collection scheduled for other days of the week, however, will be one day late.
Red Wing Public Library will be open Monday and closed Tuesday.
