Boys Basketball: Goodhue can't complete comeback

On Friday, the Goodhue boys basketball team looked ready to snap its four-game losing streak, trailing Kenyon-Wanamingo 23-21 at half.
And while the Wildcats outscored the Knights in the second half, it wasn’t enough as Goodhue dropped its fifth straight in a 40-39 loss in Kenyon.
Tyson Dicke led the Wildcats (2-5, 0-2 HVL Blue) with 13 points, six rebounds and two blocks, while Riley Bollum added eight points in the loss.
Goodhue heads to Winona State University on Dec. 28 for a holiday tournament. The teams in the tournament include Minnetonka, Winona Cotter and White Bear Lake.
