Peter John Smith, age 57, of Ellsworth, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth. Burial will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minn. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Hill Funeral Home, 130 N. Grant St., Ellsworth, Wis., and for 1/2 hour prior to the Mass at the church on Thursday.
