Special music offered before Dec. 24 services
First Lutheran Church will offer 20 minutes of music before Christmas Eve services Dec. 24.
First Lutheran Church will offer 20 minutes of music before Christmas Eve services Dec. 24. The featured group is the Three Friends Trio. Members include oboist Ellen Discher, director of music at St. Philips Lutheran Church, Hastings; Pat Dymacheck, pianist at First Presbyterian Church, Hastings; and flutist Marilee Anderson, director of music at First Lutheran.
The worship schedule is:
3 p.m. — soloist Gloria Peterson, Three Friends Trio and trombone duo Greg and Paul Whitcomb;
4:30 p.m. — Mark Family will sing in addition to the trio;
10:30 p.m. — Chancel and handbell choirs.
