Colton Berger sank 1 of 2 free throws with three seconds left to help Durand stay undefeated Friday night with a 72-71 victory in Ellsworth.
Chrystian Kulow led Ellsworth (2-5, 0-3 Middle Border) with 26 points and six rebounds. He made five 3-pointers. Nick Taranto had 18 points in the loss.
Ellsworth trailed 44-36 at halftime and will travel Tuesday to face Prescott.
