The Zumbrota-Mazeppa girls basketball team struggled hitting shots, shooting 28 percent in a 47-41 loss to Hayfield Friday in Zumbrota.
Leading the Cougars (1-4) was Genna Miller, who finished with 11 points. Kalli Paukert had nine points, and Amber Jentsch added seven points and eight rebounds for Z-M, which travels to Dover-Eyota Monday.
