An Ellsworth man was injured Friday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Trimbelle Township, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department reported. Roger Pulk, 87, was brought to Regions Hospital in St. Paul with undetermined injuries.
Pulk had been traveling on Highway 63 at about 8:20 a.m. when a minivan, driven by Joseph Roesler, 31, Hager City, failed to stop at a stop sign at County Road K and broadsided Pulk’s Chevrolet Impala, the sheriff’s office said. The Impala then spun out of control and struck a Buick Century driven by Caitlin Hanson, 19, Hager City.
Hanson and Roesler were not injured. All three vehicles sustained severe damage.
Ellsworth Ambulance, Ellsworth Fire Department, Bunce’s Towing and Melstrom’s Towing assisted at the scene.
