One injured in snowmobile crash
One person was injured in a snowmobile crash the evening of Dec. 11. Joshua Bedard, 37, Houston, Minn., was driving on a trail one mile west of County Road 41 and Highway 19 in Featherstone Township when he hit a fallen tree. His snowmobile went airborne and he hit a tree head-on, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Goodhue First Responders assisted at the scene and sent in an ATV to bring out Bedard. He was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing with a leg injury. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the sheriff’s department reported.
