Boys Basketball: Wildcats no match for Rochester Lourdes

No player scored more than seven points for Goodhue Tuesday in a 71-43 loss to Rochester Lourdes in Rochester.

No player scored more than seven points for Goodhue Tuesday in a 71-43 loss to Rochester Lourdes in Rochester.

The second-ranked (2A) Eagles established a 47-12 lead by halftime and forced 22 turnovers by the Wildcats.

Riley Bollum led Goodhue (2-2) with seven points as the Wildcats shot 50 percent from the field but just 7 of 19 from the free-throw line.

Goodhue travels to play Hayfield Friday at 7:15 p.m.
