10 days out for Dec. 12-23, 2012

Spotlight: The trio of sisters Lauren, Torie and Ali Redpath bring harmony accompanied by a small ensemble including acoustic guitar, upright bass and fiddle to their Christmas concert Thursday Dec. 20 at Crossings at Carnegie.

The group, known as Redpath, will focus on the sacred meaning of Christmas at the concert, organizers said.

The Minneapolis natives grew up singing and in 2008 formed their group and released their first single, “Let Go.” In 2009 they followed with a full-length holiday album titled “The Heart of Christmas” and another album in 2011 called “American Made.”

They tour regionally throughout the winter performing Christmas songs.

Influenced by the sounds of Allison Krauss, the Eagles and Shania Twain, their music is designed to connect with the listener and share personal experiences and stories through songs that everyone can relate to, promoters said.

Tickets are $14 in advance or $16 the day of the show. To reserve tickets, call 507-732-7616 or go to Crossings at 320 East Ave. in Zumbrota. For more information, visit www.crossingsatcarnegie.com.
