The Ellsworth girls basketball team dropped to 1-4 after a 42-29 loss at Amery.
Leading 24-13 at halftime, the Warriors were led by Ashley Whalen, who finished with nine points.
The Panthers got a team-high eight points from Riley Harrison, with Latacia Kuhl and Rebecca Matzek chipping in with six and five points, respectively.
Ellsworth is back on the court on Dec. 14 in Durand.
