Girls Basketball: Byron bests Lake City

Holding a 31-21 lead at halftime, Byron out-scored Lake City 33-18 in the second half, knocking the Tigers down for the first time this season with a 64-39 victory Friday in Lake City.
Breanna Gates led the Tigers (4-1) with 11 points, and Taylor Koller added nine in the loss.
The Tigers are back in action Tuesday against Kasson-Mantorville in Lake City.
