Fagerlund-Colbert wedding

Jill Fagerlund and Justin Colbert of Altoona, Iowa, were married July 28, 2012, in Des Moines, Iowa, with Pastor Richard Boatman officiating.

Brothers Bob Fagerlund of Dallas Texas and Jeff Fagerlund of Burnsville, Minn., escorted the bride down the aisle. She is the daughter of Marge and the late Robb Fagerlund of Red Wing.

The groom is the son of Dave and Diane Colbert of Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Matron of honor was Beth Schultz, sister of the bride of Franklin, Minn. Bridesmaids were Maeta Avery of Red Wing; Kelli Purcell, sister of the groom of Altoona; Ashley Houts of Milwaukee and Calynn Koerten of Madison, Wis.

Personal attendant was Jen Crosby of Hudson, Wis.

Best man was Chris Colbert, brother of the groom of Pleasant Hill. Groomsmen were James Rendall of Ames, Iowa, Rich Beattie of Altoona, Poul Collins of Boulder, Colo., and Jason Nolting of Altoona.

The bride graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in health care administration. She is employed at Deerfield Retirement Community in Urbandale, Iowa.

The groom graduated from Drake University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education. He has since received a master’s degree in secondary education with an emphasis on special education and is completing a second master’s in educational leadership. He is employed at Southeast Polk High School in Altoona.
